Adaptable Aluminium Tables
These aluminium tables function as two portable side tables which combine to form a unique coffee table and magazine rack. This project was in response to the the increasing need for flexible living within many contemporary spaces, providing a simplistic and adaptable alternative to static furniture. The tables took aesthetic inspiration from the geometric simplicity and material honesty of brutalist architecture, carrying through to the design process which consisted of a series of paper maquettes.
