Score
This project explored new ways of working with leather, taking inspiration from historic methods of hot water forming and combining with new found methods of 'scoring' to inform and control shape. This method of working was a refined result of an explorative and iterative approach, combing sensitivity and creativity towards a valuable and traditionally used material. Score is a collection of leather vessels which showcase this new found method of leather working, with the potential for this to be explored through other objects. This project was in collaboration with Bill Amberg Studio and The Leathersellers.
