WEM LAMP
WEM Lamp was developed through exploring future communal living spaces and was a response to a selection of outlined design principles from a previous research project. The lamp aims to provide a sense of flexibility within compact spaces, mirroring the changing needs of the user throughout the day. The lamp was designed with a magnetic base which allows the user to interact with select surfaces throughout shared living spaces, encouraging the migration and interaction of people and objects. The wireless internal structure of the lamp takes inspiration from the Tizio table lamp, transferring a low voltage current through concealed aluminium arms. Providing opportunity for several different functions.
